I started on Saints Row the Third during the last 6 months of production. My main job was to support the other interface artists and build any screens they were not able to get to during production while fixing bugs on screens that where already in game. I was also responsible for making the interface functional on the PC and hooking up all the interface audio for most screens. I built the options screen system that was used in the front end and in the pause menu. I was responsible for the animations and functionality. The system could dynamically resize and animate based on each screens contents.

The Pause menu and all the screens below it used the settings screen system I built. The Pause menu also layed everything out from the left side instead of centered like the main menu even though it was run by the same system in script.

I was responible for building the save/load screen and updating it to match the new art style. I worked with another artist to get all the save file images created and streamed in.

I was incharge of changing the Building Purchase screen to match the interface art direction of SRTT for this type of screen since it changed mid development.

I moved the Cash screen from the Crib screen, like in previous Saints Row games, to the cell phone. This way the player could get cash if it was available from anywhere during gameplay. I also designed the screen to feel more like an app on the phone.

I created several papercraft models for SR3 in my free time. The THQ European marketing team actually got the Prof Genki model published in a game magazine in Europe.
